Three Rivers Project

In the summer of 2003, the Yukon Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society organized three concurrent river trips, sending artists, writers, biologists, journalists and photographers from across the country, down three Yukon Rivers; the Wind, the Snake and the Bonnet Plume. This effort to generate awareness and conservation of this large area of pristine wilderness resulted in the production of a travelling art exhibition and the publication of a beautiful book called "Three Rivers: The Yukon's Great Boreal Wilderness".

It was an honor to be selected to participate in this project, to be able to see this remote part of the Yukon and to meet such an interesting selection of people. The artwork is currently traveling across Canada. For more information about this project, the other artists, or the book, please contact CPAWS Yukon Chapter.
